Course Description:
This course will survey the
landscape management industries, introduce principles and practices of
landscape contracting, management plans, maintenance, and solving common
problems encountered in landscapes. Landscape maintenance equipment and
control of common landscape pests are covered. Lab will complement lectures.

Lecture: Monday - 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Laboratory: Saturdays as indicated
in lab schedule

Attendance:
Students are expected to attend all scheduled lecture and laboratory
classes because attendance is deemed necessary for proper instruction.
The instructor assumes no responsibility for providing notes or handouts
issued during the student's unexcused absence. No make-up examinations
will be given except in the case of extenuating circumstances.
Examinations:
LECTURE: One (1) mid-term exam and one (1) final exam will be given. The mid-term exam will only cover material presented up to the exam date. The final exam will be cumulative, covering all material presented in both lecture and lab. Extra-credit assignments will not be given.
LABORATORY: A laboratory
practical exam will be given covering all material from the laboratory
exercises.
The date of the exam will be scheduled during class time.
